Another busy Scout

Edward too has been busy with Scouts. The Deacons quorum is getting ready to go on a 30 mile hike/camping trip later this month. At the last Court of Honor Edward received his 11th merit badge and the American Heritage Gold Medal. He is now at the rank of Star working toward Life. He serves as my Den Chief to the Bear Cub Scouts, and is a very big help.

Busy Boy Scout

If Aaron was a busy Cub Scout, Andrew has been even busier. He has finally reached that grand old age of 11 and become a Boy Scout. Right before he crossed over he made sure that he earned everything possible. He had earned and was awarded his Arrow of Light Award, his Emergency Preparedness Pin, his Internet Scouting Patch, his World Conservation Award, and all 20 Webelos Activity Pins (which earned him the Super Achiever Award). Way to go Andrew!

Right after he crossed over into 11-year-old-Scouts Andrew attended West Vancouver Stake's camp and earned himself 3 merit badges. He will attend the Vancouver Stake camp later this month and earn at least 2 more as well as pass off the swimming requirements for 1st Class. I think he hopes to be an eagle before he turns 12.

Busy Cub Scout

Aaron has been busy this year so far in Cub Scouts (he can't help it with his mother as the Cub Committee Chair and Bear Den Leader). Already in the short 6 months he has been in Cub Scouts he has earned over 24 segments, his Wolf Rank, his Religious Knot, his American Heritage Award, and his World Conservation Patch. He plans to have his entire shirt covered with segments and awards by the time he reaches 11.
